AdWonder 9.0 Now Available - Flash 9 / AS 3.0 support
After several months of development, I am happy to announce that the AdWonder Flash Component 9.0 is now available. This release fully supports Flash 9 with all its ActionScript 3.0 glory.
We are offering this new MXP initially to existing AdWonder users who make the upgrade to CS3.
So other than working with Flash 9, what’s so special? I thought you would never ask.
- No more Mac Uploader - now everything is automatically uploaded and an approval link is generated with a single a mouse click with our cross-platform background service for both Windows and OSX
- Additional asset upload checkboxes - allows you to select which additional assets will be updated/uploaded and most importantly which FLAs will be republished
- Updated Workflow panel - all new Flex-based polished interface
- Flash 8 and 9 Player support - penetration numbers are growing everyday (Flash 8 - 96%, Flash 9 - 84%)
- Demo creation independent of ads – create and modify demos without affecting the published ads
- ActionScript 3.0 Unleashed - support for ad creation in both ActionScript 3.0 and 2.0
- Increased stability - utilizes Flash 9 stability for both the authoring system and internal Flash player
- BandwidthDetect class – detect bandwidth without being tied to video

- MySpaceIM ad format support - now it is easier than ever to create ads for MySpaceIM client; includes mouse over expandable ads
- Enhanced publishing for IM formats with daughter windows - when creating ads for AIM and MySpaceIM, publishing the main ad will also upload and publish the daughter (no need to publish both every time now)
- Updated expandable offset layout - new GUI
