Because of the sheer number of impressions we run (think billions) we are able to do a fairly comprehensive bi-monthly analysis on Flash player penetration. Adobe recently posted the latest (December 06) numbers showing that Flash 9 player is steadily growing and was almost at 60% when their survey was conducted. This matches up pretty close to what we had in December, but it is February now and love is in the air…

That’s right, we are seeing a pretty steady increase of Flash 9 users which according to my best guess means when Flash 9 Studio is fully released in the coming months 9 will be bordering 90% and 8 will be about 95%.
What does this mean for you? Well, I would recommend you are ready to upgrade to Flash 9 as soon as it comes out to start taking advantage of the improvements available and executing rich media campaigns with the latest and greatest.
